You are never out of His sight
Psalms 33:18

Psalms 33:18
You are never out of His sight
"But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love." (NIV) |
In Psalm 33:18, the phrase the eyes of the Lord says that the Lord is all-seeing, all-knowing and He is everywhere, and the Lord is caring by nature toward His children. Now you may wonder what kind of fear does the Lord want me to have?
What does the New Testament say? Philippians 2:12–13: “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you.” So, the New Testament treats the fear of God as a motive for not turning away from him. We should fear in the sense that we seek refuge from God away from God’s terrible wrath. God’s grace in Christ is the refuge from God’s wrath outside Christ. There is terror outside of Christ, and there is a different kind of trembling inside of Christ.
So who is the Lord’s eye on? Who is His favor upon? Who is His face shining upon? That is you Child Of God. So fear God by not fearing anything else as you are in Christ. So worship, stand in awe of Him, and know that nothing can take you away from Him as He is watching you, protecting you, and loving you stay in His love for you this week, shall we?
